Day 6 - Rocky Mountain National Park

I arrived in Estes Park late yesteday afternoon and drove around the park some and then began looking for a camping site. All campgrounds in the park were full. I ended up camping in a private campground where the tents are on top of one another. If was awful. I just got up early in the morning, packed up and found a place within the park which is very nice. Saw about half of the park so far and will see the rest tomorrow on my way to Steamboat Springs.

Post some responses or email and let me know how you are doing.

Val, I posted a comment on one of your picture sites but I guess I should have done it here. What did Belle think of the elk? The pictures are beautiful. Your eyes must hurt from all the beautiful scenery. I'm glad you're keeping in touch and giving me a travelogue through the photos. Are you also checking your hot mail e-mail address? Smoky is being a little doll, as usual. The vet is coming on Thursday, 8-2, to give him his shots, etc. Love you!

Yes, I'm checking my hotmail account also.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Wait 'til you see Teton.
