Day 9 - Jackson, Wyoming

Downtown square in Jackson. How many antlers does it take to make an arch?
View from my campsite overlooking an elk refuge toward the Tetons. Incredible.

Val, I'm at home on our incredibly slow dial up computer, but still enjoying your wonderful pictures and stories. If you notice the time, it's one of those night when I need one of your wonderful bedtime stories in your jazz radio voice. Smoky is loving me being up this late. Are you getting my e-mails? Should I e-mail you at the hot mail address? I have hundreds of cute Smoky stories for you. I imagine Belle would be bored to death with them. Do you have cell phone service? I'd love to hear your voice. Is Belle using her flea and tick collar? Today is Carla Anne's 6th Birthday. She wants cash. Just like her namesake. Love to you and Bell!

Val- glad to see some more gorgeoso vistas. There hadn't been any thing for several days- don't know why they just came thru. Those Tetons are now on my must see list. Belle sure looked like she was enjoying being held- jk she's quite an armful! Ralph and I went to the ABQ museum last night for a women's voices tribute to Linda Cotton. Your sister was there- Joanie as well as Wendy Beach a couple of Patti's. They were all wonderful and brought their unique styles to traditional jazz classics. Brent and his girlfriend saw Sonny Rollins- a living legend, and it must have inspired him because he's playing his sax as I type. He hadn't touched that horn for over a year! That concert kept the crowds down at the women's event so we had great seats. And speaking of seats- these audiences are getting too sedate for me -I miss standing up and boogying all the way thru or at least at for the finale. I have an interview next week, TG. Are there any clothes btwn hoochie and matronly? I broke down and bought something quite ladylike- I'm sure it will come in handy for funerals and the like. U know it's from Marshalls. Everything abt your trip sounds fabulous except the infrequent shower part. Today is a definite pool day- it's been cloudy but not raining-weird. We did get a downpour, gutterwasher, roof tester a few days ago. Nilli staye under the blanket for a very long time. Cn't wait for ur next installment of beautiful pics. Love ya miche

Along with the piercing salon, I'll do late night jazz radio. Carla, I'm getting your emails. I'm checking my hotmail account whenever I can. Please tell me stories of Smokey. Belle actually has been asking about Smokey. I sometimes have cell service. Just call and I'll return the call whenever I can. How much money are you giving Carla Anna? The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

Hi Debi, haven't had a chance to view your blog but will. Keep in touch.

I just found out my brother has a website with pictures of us when we were wee little. He is turning 60.

I miss everyone!
